Teachers & Coaches

Teams are comprised of 3 to 5 students in grades 4th-5th and 6th-8th and can be a mixture of girls/boys or schools/organizations! Teams can be sponsored by schools (public/private/faith-based), religious organizations, scout troops, clubs, or any community/professional organizations. Coaches are any adult (teachers, parents, community leaders, professionals, etc.) willing to learn, mentor students, and attend a Challenge Day.

A Game Table, Pieces, and a Mat make up a full Ecobot Game Set and can be shared with up to 4 full teams! Each 4-6 Person team will need its own Robot Kit though. Visit the Ecobot Store to purchase your supplies. EV3 Kits can be purchased from Lego. ***Store pickups are by appointment ONLY.

Attend a Practice Day! Generally from 10am-3pm at a school within the host ISD, Practice Days allow students to learn and practice the 2017 Ecobot missions alongside other participants. Teams/Coaches should plan to attend at least one Practice Day (parents can come too!). These are free events, but registration is required and will open soon!
